Paige Paige didn't deny the rising feeling in her stomach. That sick twisting feeling of butterflies climbing on top of each other to reach the heart in her rib cage. She felt loved. She felt protected and special in a strange sort of way. It was horrifying and wonderful. A little scary and all too bizarre but she had complex compounded emotions bashing against each other in her mind.
No one had ever stood up for her before. Least of all to protect her from Kevin. She was glad the bastard was gone, and maybe her gratitude was the reason she was throwing herself so hard against the will of fate and resting her heart in the hands of a stranger but.... These complex compounded feelings were bubbling up and stirring her urges, her needs and she felt her fingers tugging at the wasitline of his shorts.
That was until she felt the teeth sink into her shoulder. Paige screamed. It hurt so bad. It felt like a thousand angry red hot razors ripping through her skin and muscle and she pulled away. Or tried too but he held her tightly. Apologizing and saying he didn't mean too. She didn't doubt that that was true. She saw the look on his face as she woke up and she saw the hungry carnivorous glare still etched into his hungry eye.
He couldn't control it. That was something she could relate to in a way. She couldn't control her own fate and though there were times when she wanted to die and just have the world end it all.... That could never truly happen. She was powerless and she felt that way. She knew what it was like to be powerless. She cried a bit as the pain burned deeper into her muscle and she watched as her shoulder regrew. Piece by piece muscle and senew crawling over itself to repair the damage.
It was like watching little wet red strings sew itself back together and pull the wound closed. There was a smear of blood on her shoulder as she healed completely. Her worried eyes found his face and she stared deeply into his eyes. To reach him to really reach him. "I. Am not. Food." She said as calmly and clearly as she could. She needed him to understand. She could regenerate but if he swallowed her whole it would be bad. For both of them.
She would sit in the pit of his stomach slowly burning away in agony over the corrosive stomach acids of his digestive track and he would never fully digest her. She would regenerate only to be melted again. She would literally be with him for life and she would be in eternal agony. She shuttered at the thought. She saw a glimmer of goodness within him. He wanted to help her, but she knew he was also dangerous. She had to be more careful. Especially about showing skin around him she supposed.

Paige His actions were that of a monster. But his words were that of a friend, a protector. Paige had never had a friend. Not a real friend anyways. She had acquaintances and things of that ilk, but she had never had someone who had honestly tried to protect her from harm before.
In the same vein this boy was thinking about doing more harm to her than Kevin ever did, but she did not know that. Paige remained huddled in the corner. Her knees pulled up to her chest and tightly wrapped by her quivering slender arms. She was still afraid, but less afraid as his words sunk into her mind. He said she didn't have to be afraid anymore. Kevin couldn't hurt her anymore, and yet..... What did that mean?
Did it mean she was free to leave the circus and do what her life what she wished? She didn't really want to go and she didn't really want to stay either. The violent imagery that she had just seen would surely haunt her for a long time. Paige wasn't a violent person. she couldn't harm a fly if she wanted too. She had seen pain. Lived pain, but she didn't cause pain.
Paige was sweet and innocent and the complete opposite of Gnaw's bloodlust. It was a beauty and the beast situation if she ever understood one. There was a calmness about her. A soft spoken voice in her ear telling her that Joe was not like Kevin. Joe would never hurt her. The violence and destruction she had seen was only his mutant abilities, but it wasn't what defined him as a person. Paige might've been wrong, she might've been right, but she thought she could see past the layer of ugliness to his abilities.
Paige slowly pushed herself to her feet and walked along the bloodied floor. She was careful to step over the blood stains that was Kevin, or what was left of Kevin as she found Gnaw in the kitchen part of his little trailer. He was at the sink washing up. Washing away the blood and with a shaky hand Paige reached out and touched his hand. Her fingers slowly gliding along the surface of his skin. His hands were shaking too. she could feel the subtle vibration of his frayed nerves in the tips of her fingers.
She pressed her chest into his back and rested her head on his shoulder. Pinning him up against the sink with a gentle hug she began to cry. "Thank you." She whispered through the sobs. "Thank you so much." She wasn't sure what she was thanking him for. A chance to live life without constant fear perhaps? Or maybe for doing the thing she had sometimes wanted to do, but didn't have the courage to do. Rid herself of a monster. Gnaw was not a monster. Not in her eyes. She had been shocked at the sight and it rattled her, but she did not see him as a monster.
Paige waited for him to turn around and when he did she kissed him. Her lips clashed into his in the most needing of ways. She almost seemed desperate for the taste of him. A subtle wave of anxious energy washed over her divided thoughts. She wanted to feel close to something protective and true. She wanted this to mean something more. She wanted, for once in her life to have hope to cling onto. And more than anything this was a beauty and the beast story. She wanted the beast to see that she wasn't afraid of him anymore.

Paige Swimming in light. Swimming in darkness. It really didn't matter. The end result was always the same. Sometimes really, the location would vary. Death was a funny sort of thing. The way it pulled you slowly from your body and rose you up. You already knew what was going to happen, but you had to go through the motions. Appease the sick fuck god who would even put you through this in the first place.
Paige ordinarily wouldn't put much stock into imaginary beings. She stopped giving a shit about Santa's naughty and nice list a long time ago, but she had seen god. Met him in person. He was not at all what you would expect. Some might even call him a hippy if you could believe it. His views and ideologies were confusing at best and apathetic at worst. The human race wasn't as important to him as the good book would suggest. To him, we were all just entertainment. An intergalactic time suck simply there for his amusement and to feed his bleeding ego.
She hated him for that. Taking away the mystery of what life really meant. On some levels Paige might've seemed jaded. Callus even. She was cautious, and shy and neurotic and spastic, but she knew bigger picture stuff. She had the answers that some clung too when the light was brightening and the angels descended to take them home. There was no going home for her. Only a brief visit before her body healed itself and her mortal wounds were no longer mortal wounds. Then, like a hoover vaccume with a $3,000 price tag she would be sucked back so fast you wouldn't even believe there was a blood stain on the carpet in the first place.
This time time it was a diner. Pop's diner it was called. Blindingly white and filled with fluffly clouds that rolled across the ground like a thick fog. Paige pushed open the door to see several faces looking at her. The afterlife sucked. Even here people seemed to judge you. But it was no inner peace bullshit, but more everyone wondering who would get in, and who would get cast out of these pearly gates that lied just beyond the veil. Paige sighed. The waitress looked at her. She flapped glorious wings behind her back as she shifted her weight to one hip and chewed mechanically on a piece of gum. Paige would venture to guess she had been chewing that same piece of gum for an eternity.
"Welcome back kiddo. You gonna stick around this time?" The waitress asked. Paige shook her head. "Just waiting for my ride." She replied dryly. The other dead people seemed confused by this more than anything, but she didn't care. Something was happening back by her body. She could practically feel Kevin's tight grip dragging her corpse back to his pickup. Gotta get back. She thought anxiously. She could only imagine what Kevin was doing to Joe right about now. "Joe. I'm sorry." She whispered to herself under her breath.
As cute as it was for god to dress up the afterlife like a diner to make her transition more familiar and comfortable she had transitioned to many times already. Death was just an inconvenience to her. Paige could feel the process happening. The slow mending of delicate damage. Her ghostly, heavenly form started to fade. She was glad that this was her stop. She really didn't know how she'd feel if her transition led her to hell. But at least the guy upstairs had some sort of feelings towards her. Death could be a lot more unpleasant and she knew that.
Before too long she was pulled back. Fading away from the smoky diner and it's dead occupants. She hit her body like a megaton bomb and gasped out a gasping heave of hungry breath. Like a drowning victim who tasted surface after moments submerged. Paige was breathing heavy and looked around trying to gather her bearings. Resurrection was no picnic either. She didn't have time to recognize much before a warm shower of hot blood splashed her face. Paige turned her attention to Gnaw and saw the way his face had ripped open to allow his bite to devour. She screamed. Terrified. Paige scurried back against the wall. Too scared to move any further. Rooted to the spot. Kevin was screaming too. Though his screams faded when he lost consciousness to blood loss and shock.
Paige couldn't pull her eyes away from the sight. She was petrified and yet. She had to see this. She had to witness the fact that Kevin was gone from her life for good. It wasn't a knight in shining armor that did this for her but a monster. She owed her life to a monster. And suddenly she was very afraid of Gnaw, and his name made much more sense to her now.

Paige Paige had never been this intimate with anyone. Ever. In her entire life. There was Kevin, but that wasn't intimacy. That was never intimacy, that was ownership. She had found herself in a real bad place when she allowed him into her life and she had barely escaped with her own life. Maybe that was part of the reason she was itching to run so badly. She never could get used to the idea of safety and paranoia would always creep back.
She could still hear the last words he ever said to her ringing in her heart. "You'll never be rid of me bitch. I will find you. Wherever you go and I will drag you back. You belong to me." Just the thought of his callousness sent a shiver down her spine. A trip of guilt running through her as her hand tightened around his member and squeezed and stroked. Even going as far as diving down beneath the thin fabric that kept her away from skin. Paige was lost in this moment. Wanting for just one time to know how it felt to be needed by someone who didn't wish her harm.
She was still off on that count because the thoughts running through Gnaw's mind were very harmful just the same. She felt light, feathery. As if you could knock her over with a small gust. She didn't meant to throw herself at the stranger, but she found herself doing just that when he said she should stay. She wanted a reason as much as she wanted permission. She had grown comfortable here and she didn't really want to leave, but she thought she had seen Kevin in the crowd today during the big show. She would always think she saw Kevin. She would be looking over her shoulder forever. Just to stay away from the bruises and the abuse.
The truth was she had seen Kevin and he had seen her. The show was over now and most folks were ready to leave and head to their homes, but Kevin was skulking around the circus looking in tents he had no business looking in and searching for the girl he had been searching for for so long. Paige felt a strong throbbing in her soft hand, but it was her other hand that had her attention. Dipping just over the knuckle she watched as he sucked on her finger gently. She gasped a little because of how it tickled.
He wanted to see her ability? Most people thought of her as a freak and even here in this circus of mutants she hadn't felt completely comfortable with her own abilities. Paige opened her mouth to say something when the door burst open. Kicked in by the high school jock quarterback and all around scumbag. People have been telling Kevin he was a winner since High school and even though he peaked back then it didn't stop him from believing the hype now. "I found you bitch." He said with growing sneer. His smile faded when he noticed her hand down Gnaw's shorts. Kevin grabbed Paige by the hair, palming her head in his hand and slamming it off the corner of the table.
Paige collapsed in a pool of blood that was slowly leaking and racing down the slightly slanted floor and spilling into the crack in the doorway. She was dead again. It would never stick, but Kevin knew that. He knew that any mark he left on her would be gone like magic. Presto! Good as new. Ready to be beaten all over again. Kevin turned to Gnaw. "I'm going to fucking kill you." He said calmly and simply.

Paige Paige was a little taken aback. She hadn't expected such an unusually question. "Eaten?" She repeated as if saying it herself would make the question make more logical sense. "Why the hell would I be eaten? Is there a pack of wild dogs around here I don't know about?" Her question was only half joking as she could visually be seen shaking a little. Paige was afraid of dogs, big dogs mostly. Those sharp teeth and powerful jaws. She had seen the police syc dogs on mutants before and the result was always bloody.
"Uh.... Yeah I always grow back. It hurts. It's not like I don't feel pain. If i get hurt or if i ya know die or whatever.... It hurts just as much as you would think it would. It's a gift, but it's also a curse. I've face a thousand deaths and none of them were ever pleasant. " For a moment Paige looked like she was beginning to tear up. Thinking back to every painful moment and remembering each and every infliction of damage and death. The worst part was thinking about the specifics of it all.... She could feel the pain all over again.
It was just the crazy way her brain functioned. She tried not to think about it so she didn't have to relive the pain again, but the mention of being eaten had momentarily made her think of the time she had been bitten by a police dog. The back of her calf began to bleed on it's own as fresh bitemarks appeared in her naturally pale skin. "Ah! Fuck!" She cried out in pain.
But as quickly as it had came it was gone. The bite marks left by the phantom dog from over a year ago healed quickly and disappeared. "I don't like to really...." She stopped when she noticed the front of his trousers again. "Speaking of growing back....." She giggled a bit and raised her eyes to his. She saw him staring at her longingly. It felt strange having that level of intensity directed at her. No one really cared about her. Not since well.... Not since her mother, but she saw something in the way he looked at her. She mistook his hunger for affection and suddenly she felt overcome, desperate to feel important to someone.
It made her foolish. Taking a slow step forward she snaked her arm around the back of his head and pulled his lips into a soft kiss. Her breath softly exhaled into his open mouth as her lips collided with the tenderness of his. Her hand reached down and grabbed hold of what was swelling just beneath the fabric failing to conceal it's presence. What was there was firm and warm and she grasped it tightly, taking another daring step forward she pushed him back up against the wall. "I wanted to run away...." She gasped between her expressionful kiss and the urgent need for gasping breath; "But I don't want to be alone anymore."
Young and stupid she thought she had connected. Paige felt things more deeply than most. A gift and curse of her abilities, her heart like the rest of her grew back too, but it also caused her heart to lead her choices. Her heart was always growing. Letting people in that she really shouldn't. It was the thing that got her in trouble the most.

Paige Paige smiled. Beneath the shy persona there was a deeper and more carefree spirit living on the edge of the surface. She didn't always act so sheepish. Actually she was rather reckless and brave, though standing here with red cheeks and trying to keep her eyes on his eyes with consious effort you wouldn't have known that. "It's a nice place." She admitted.
It wasn't really. There were stains that looked like rust but more accurately could have been blood here or there. The lighting and wiring was pretty shotty and the whole place was giving her the clausterphobic feeling rising just beneath her skin, but she smile through her struggles because he was cute and she didn't want to seem like a bitch... "How have we never met before? I've been here 3 weeks." Paige commented taking an absent minded stroll around the room.
She allowed her fingers to dust lightly over the various things on his dresser. Not really touching them but glide flying her fingers over things that could be considered precious or personal. Invading his privacy, and doing it with a swooping hand that looked like a hand dancing on the wind when you stuck it out of the car window on boring road trips. Her smile was ever present and her eyes lively and curious. Every so often she would steal little glances at him on her slow stroll. "What's your real name? Gnaw surely isn't your real name. I didn't introduce myself as Presto." Presto being her mutant name. Her label handed to her by people who saw her abilities as magical.
They may as well have named her Alakazam. As silly as that seemed Presto had become close to her heart. Her mother even called her that, and it had become something of a special connection between them. Something deeply personal and connected. Right before her mother died she told Paige that she WAS indeed magic. She was the only thing that could make her problems disappear. Just seeing her smile was enough to steal the show. Her mother's dying words were corny and covered in cheese, but it didn't stop Paige from crying at her bedside as the monitor flatlined all the same.
She wanted to know more about this boy. Her heart was only halfway into leaving the circus. She had convinced herself it was what she wanted, but the truth was she would have only been more frightened all on her own. Paige felt like she had to punish herself for not being able to do more to save her mother even though it was cancer that eventually swallowed her whole. Paige wanted to make friends her. Plant roots. Make new connections. She wiped the slime off her fingers with the generously provided napkin and continued to glide them childishly as she learned all over how to make them move again. It was a slow process. She stopped only inches away from Gnaw.
Her breath touching the wetness of the skin on his shoulder. She looked at him like a bug under a microscope. As if she could peel back the layers of his mystery with a curious gaze. Her mouth hung open and she held her breath unintentionally. A few random strands of hair falling over her right eye as she waited for him to say something. Anything that could convince her to stay here. She didn't even realize that her heart was racing.

Paige "Fix up like what?" Paige asked slightly confused. She hadn't noticed yet the slow throbbing in her fingers. Or the slight burn of her skin as the healing process didn't come without a little pain. She did notice then the slimy feeling of her newly formed fingers and she stared at them from her seat on the dirty floor.
"What happened to my...." She smiled shyly. "Never mind." For whatever reason she found herself embarrassed again. Especially when she noticed his not so subtle attempts to hide his little friend. Paige pretended not to notice, though her curiosity rose a little and she did peek in it's direction when he looked away. Just a little peek, never hurt anyone. Paige's heart was galloping in her chest.
She had never really been alone with a boy in his place before. She was young, and as inexperienced as he. The one and only boyfriend she had ever had was a bit on the abusive side. It worked in his favor that she was a mutant because he could break bones and they would mend themselves.
Paige's brain repaired itself at such and extraordinary rate that she had a super memory even for the smallest of details. May 6th 2017 2:34am she awoke to a crunch as her nose was broken under his fist. She bled for 26 minutes and cried twice that length. It was horrible remembering every single painful detail, but love had never really been her friend. She had never gone looking for it after that.
Though sitting here now she found herself oddly drawn to the kid who's name she did not even properly know. "Your father..." She said changing the subject as much for her comfort as for his. "He took me in and gave me a home, but...." She wanted to say that she felt like an outcast, an outsider... She didn't belong in this laberynth of chaos. It's not what her mother wanted but..... "I'm Paige."
She said seemingly out of nowhere. Finally deciding to push herself up from her seated spot. Looking around the place she frowned at how small it was. "You live here?" She asked. Stupid question but she was bad at small talk. What she wanted to say was 'maybe i'll stay after all you're kind of cute and what the hell out do i have to run towards?' but she didn't say that. She only smiled and blushed and offered him a pair of sweat pants she found lying on the floor.

Paige There's something uniquely peaceful about dead. Everything just seems to click your mind goes blank with the song of gath quietly singing in your ear in your mind and in your heart. Page's bodylaid lifeless on the dirty ground .
She did not think she did not feel. Her conscious awareness with somewhere else Drifting On The Plains of the afterlife . It's funny every time she had died before she always has overcome with this bright light this calming presentwelcoming her to a place that felt like home . but this time was different she was surrounded by darkness of the scary . and though she was dead technically, she never actually died should always be brought back.
she just had to wait for her body to regenerate a new already on the Mortal plane her fingers were being bitten off . paige didn't feel this page was not aware of this. Somewhere in the surrounding the herbalist she heard Whispers calling to her. Somewhere in the surrounding Darkness a low raspy voice urged her to move further into the darkness. Paige was terrified what had she done to earn herself dammnation upon her final death?
this place was terrifying this place was scary. Page did not want to die but she especially did not want to end up in a place like this. Blood drip down to the dirty linoleum as the only sound in his trailer could be heard was the crunch crunch crunch of her finger slowly being devoured. Page and fill this page didn't know anything about this her conscious mind was in a hellish place for all of her worldly sins. But almost as quickly as they disappeared her fingers started to grow back. Bone and flesh and skin slowly building upon one another. Until they were new covered in a light layer of slime and blood. It was as if they were never gone in the first place.
as the bones and Pages neck slowly began to mend themselves page could feel her conscious mind pulling away from the dark scary place. Page could feel herself pulling back to her body in a process that she was all too familiar with. This was not the first time that she died. And it would not be the last. pages I snapped open in an unfamiliar place the last remnants of Darkness pulling at her soul. seen the boy in front of her page blinked a few timeS. "Hello." she said politely not remembering the last few moments just before her death.

Paige Paige had almost wished that no one was home. That way at least she could say she had tried before she slipped quietly away into the night. The silvery kiss of the moonlight lit her skin in a ghostly way. She almost seemed to sparkle with a soft white glow. It enveloped her body and made her seem otherworldly in the moment. At least her visage helped her seem less clueless as he babbled. "I...Uh... I....You err." Damn it. She hadn't expected him to be home. She had wished he wasn't but she didn't really factor him being home into her plans beyond knocking on the door.
Paige was ballsy and brash and she could swear like a sailor . It didn't mean that at heart she wasn't a actively shy girl with shier innocence. A deep blush came rushing to her cheeks as her eyes traveled over his boxers and curiosity washed over her for just a moment. The boy's stomach was slightly distended. He looked like he had eaten a small dog or something. Paige did not know that it was a partially digested human. She might have ran screaming had she known, or even thrown up on his front door step. No, For all her bravado and attitude Paige was not the violent type.
She didn't harbor any deep seeded gluttony, or vengeful vendettas. "I'm sorry." She muttered, deciding the best place for her eyes was down at her feet. She couldn't look at anything violating if she looked at her feet . He was cute though, soft features he looked very kind and sweet. From what she saw in the few seconds before her distractedly blushing eyes turned away in embarrasment. She hadn't met him up close before. " I didn't mean to bother you..." She started. Paige stopped when she heard the cheesy zinger flung her way.
Paige's eyes snapped up to greet his with a are you kidding me stare. She rolled her eyes so hard it almost made her dizzy. "Really?" She asked with a hint of sarcasm. Despite being shy, despite this boy being all but naked with a smirk she couldn't help but laugh a little. It was stupid, beyond stupid, but it made her feel good. Even if she would never admit it. Anyone who had ever paid her any attention at all was usually someone she didn't want to know. Cops, and social workers, and the occasional harrassing asshole.
The blush was deepening as she cleared her throat and tried to get back on topic. "I came to inform you that I am leaving. I'm sure you will pass the message on to Mr. Sinclaire that Paige Richards is off to find somewhere she fits in...." Her little speech sounded so confident and proper only moments ago.... "I don't think I fit in here." She finished weakly. Paige rubbed at her arm and tried to find somewhere for her eyes to land that wasn't exposed skin. His eyes. She looked into his eyes and they were deep and mesmerizing. She didn't know why, but this sense of trust washed over her. It was enough to wobble her on her feet and cause her to sway distracted. "Uh... I, will be leaving, tonight and uh.... I don't think I shall ret....."
Paige paused. With an exasperated sigh she shrugged her shoulders. "I'm sorry do we have to have this conversation with you stark naked?" There it was. She couldn't hide the slight touch of her english accent. She had a decidedly British voice when she spoke and it became more pronounced when she was flustered. Growing up with her mother in England it was only right before she passed away that Paige came to America with her. "Well...Never bother. It was nice meeting you I suppose Mr. Sinclaire Jr. I'm going to be going now." She reitterated with no real reason to be talking this much.
'Just go already!' She yelled at herself in her head. Just then one of the elephants from the show happened to make a loud noise. It caused Paige to turn to the sound. She slip awkwardly from the trailer step and she fell sprawling backwards. Her arms flew out behind her but it was too late. Paige broke her neck against decent sized rock jutting up out of the ground. Her corpse laid there motionless. Staring up at the same night sky she had been staring at before this deliciously awkward conversation. [newclass=.cols]columns:150px 2;-webkit-columns:150px 2;-moz-columns:150px 2;[/newclass]

Paige Paige sat quietly on the edge of the grass. She was set to perform, but a sort of sadness rolled over her. Pulling her legs up to her chest she just hugged her knees. Her cut off shorts slightly damp from the wet grass, she didn't care. Life was soaring now. Things had taken off since she joined the circus. She felt as if she were seeing the world really for the first time. Making friends, making connections... But was all of it meaningless?
Paige hadn't had much in the way of family since her mother died. It had left her alone and with no options. She was basically homeless when Mr. Sinclaire had found her. Broken and nearly shattered Paige found wounds that should couldn't heal from. The wounds of a broken heart. She could hear the ohs and awes of the crowd inside the big tent. She didn't really turn her attention away from the majesty of the stars though. Watching the kiss of light streaking across the sky as one of them fell. Somehow it felt as if it had fell just for her. Paige closed her eyes and wished for a friend, a real friend... More than just the shallow connections she had made in her short time here.
Her eyes snapped open again when she heard screams from the big tent. Her heart was galloping in her chest as she wondered what could be going on. Several of the other mutants went about their business, none of them really seemed to surprised and she supposed that was what relaxed her tense, ridged form. Looking back at it now, she couldn't tell you why she was so afraid of accepting change. This place had been good to her. Still something about it filled her heart with dread. She ran her finger along her right hand index finger. Running her nail across the long scar that laid on her finger. The one wound that never would really heal. She had cut her finger helping her mother... Back before her mutant genes activated.
That scar would travel with her the rest of her life. She was okay with that, because she found peace in the knowledge that she had something that reminded her of her mother to hold onto. As silly as it might've seemed. Her mother wouldn't have wanted her living like this. She would have wanted better for her. Paige had decided she was going to leave tonight. After the show was over. She would say goodbye to the few people she knew here and wish them well and then she was gone. She would aidos this creepy place.
Paige's eyes moved along the clearing towards her trailer. It sat alone off in the distance, but nearby was Gnaw's trailer. She had seen him coming and going a few times and she had to admit she didn't really know what he did here. She knew that he was Mr. Sinclaire's son, and she told herself she would deliver a goodbye to him personally. Paige did not have the heart to tell Mr. Sinclaire she was leaving. Not when he was kind enough to take her in in the first place. No, she would deliver the message through proxy through his son. You're such a coward. She thought bitterly about herself.
But she had always known that. Leaning back on the grass she watched the stars roll across the sky. Hidden slightly by the naked touch of whispy clouds she just waited for the show to wind down and then she would knock on Gnaw's trailer to deliver the message. It was the least she could do. Even if she was a coward she couldn't bring herself to just vanish in the night. That would be so rude. [newclass=.cols]columns:150px 2;-webkit-columns:150px 2;-moz-columns:150px 2;[/newclass]

Paige can not get drunk because he liver repairs itself too quickly for the alcohol to take effect. Paige never gets sick, she rarely needs to sleep and her mind is constantly active. Because of this she has slightly heightened sense akin to a "spidey Sense'
Paige's brain cells constantly regenerate meaning she has a highly tangible mind and can remember almost everything. Not only that but her lack of need of sleep due to her regeneration means she is constantly afixed with plenty of energy and cognitive functionality. Her idetic memory and ability to regenerate are her main abilities. She doesn't see herself as special in any way. She still feels pain of every attack she heals from though it is never fatal. Paige can feel pain in a very real way though over the years of testing her abilities her nerve endings have kind of numbed to pain. She has a very high tolerance for it now.
WEAKNESS: Paige will die one day. Old age is not eluded by the grace of her abilities. She still ages like everyone else. The cells in her body just change the way they regenerate every so often so she can age naturally and gracefully. Though the aging process does take longer for her. She will look like she is twenty probably well into her fifties.
Though she will look twenty her organs and bodily functions age like anyone else. Her regeneration is only to heal from injuries and illness it does nothing to stop her aging process and it can be tragic. If she gets dementia in her old age. Her mind will regenerate though she will likely contract it again and it will become an endless cycle of lucidity and dementia. Like wise if her kidneys shut down in her old age, they will repair themselves but will likely shut down again because they are old. It is a vicious cycle of abuse and torture. Though these problems are far down the road. Like her looks her organs and mind age much slower.
Paige can be killed. If she is struck in the brain and something like a knife is stuck in her brain preventing her brain from healing closed the wound then she will stay dead for however long the knife remains. Remove the knife and allow her brain to heal itself and she will reanimate. It does not matter how long the knife has been there. It could be there 30 years and she will reanimate the same age she was when she died, her body aged to that age exactly as well. FACE CLAIM.
