What the fuck am I doing here? Rory wondered. He was assigned to be the personal body guard for Lulu Milton. The Queen of the hive. Not that he was complaining. He was lucky to get such a gig being a fresh baby face to the fools. It was Johnny Rome himself who told Rory to watch out for Lulu when she did her business. Not that she needed looking after. Fuck, Rory was pretty sure Lulu could be his body guard and it would make more sense. But he didn't ask questions. He just smiled and nodded for the boss man.
Rory was outside a dressing room in the mall. It was probably the fifth store they had stopped in. Lulu liked to try on clothes..... A lot. Mostly it was just hurry up and wait. Rory lit up a cigarette in the middle of the department store. He got a few disgusted looks form soccer moms who weren't any higher than a 7. He didn't care if he offended. The weasel of a manager stared at him for a moment as he thought about saying something, but a cold hard look in that direction made him turn his head. Haha.... Even in a prospect's jacket the name was respected. Rory had a prospect jacket over his broad shoulders. "You need me to take anything back for you?" Rory asked. He didn't bother to hide the boredom in his voice.Why he was charged with keeping Lulu safe, when she could personally pick up this building and huck it across the sky The fact that he was here made him a little anxious. What did Johnny Rome know that he didn't know. Maybe he was just being an overly cautious boyfriend. When you have prospects to spare why the fuck not. Especially prospects with abilities. He was taken out of his thoughts when skirts, blouses and tops came flying over the dressing room door like the dressing room itself was throwing up. He tried to duck out of the way but a pink blouse still landed on his head. It almost fucked up his perfectly slicked back hair.
The little manager man was still looking at him. Rory responded by flicking his cigarette at him. The man scurried away as if he thought the thing was going to catch him on fire. Rory laughed a little as he shifted his weight to his other foot and sighed. This was taking forever. He wanted a little fucking excitement. He didn't know that he might have more than he could handle. Members of the fools had managed to piss off not only the Detroit Diablos but Gavin Sinclaire's circus of freaks. It was only a matter of time before they had more excitement then they could handle. "You alive in there?" He asked.
Looking over at a full body mirror Rory made a face. His reflection made the same face and then winked at him unprovoked. Asshole. Rory thought. His reflection was always trying to get to the outside world. His living reflection wanted a taste of Rory's world and he didn't know why it was so important they switch places. The Upside Down was the same, only different, but it wasn't bad per say. Rory glared at his reflection. "You're not getting out of there pal." He assured it. His reflection's eyes widened and it's eyebrows arched. It pointed behind Rory and Rory turned in time for a fist to connect with his jaw. A powerful meaty fist that sent him back into the mirror shattering the glass. |

STRENGTHS:. Rory can manipulate mirror images. He has complete control over his reflective image as well as the reflections of other peoples and animals. The people and things that exist in the mirror world are his personal soldiers. Rory has the ability to pull objects and people out of the mirror world. He can pull out someone's reflection and they will be in the real world where they obey his commands like mindless slaves. Being reflections their facial expressions and clothing will match whoever they are the mirror image of. Even if attacking someone. If the person they are the reflection of is crying then the mirror world slave will be crying as he/she attacks.
When not under Rory's direction control the people in the mirror dimension have minds and lives of their own. They go about their lives unaware of Rory's world's existence. Only when they are standing in front of a mirror are they compelled to exactly act like whoever they are reflecting. This is the mirror dimension's rule, not Rory's. Though one addendum, everyone in the mirror dimension has an exact opposite personality to their real world counterpart. Though other people's reflections in the mirror dimension have the exact opposite powers as their real world counterpart. Rory has control of their abilities while in the real world. But they all become mindless slaves to Rory's will at a moment's notice when he calls upon them.
Rory has the ability to step into the mirror world and bring others with him. The mirror world is odd in that colors are different and light and dark play crucial roles. Rory can not be trapped in a mirror. He has the ability to make mirrored reflective surfaces as exits to the real world. If he is inside the mirror world and the portal shatters, i.e. the mirror breaks, Rory will have to find another exit or make one. Rory can trap people in the mirror world. Once they pass through the barrier they need Rory's mirror traveling abilities to pass to the other side again.
WEAKNESS: Rory can not make portals when there is no light in the room. There has to be light present for him to create a portal to the mirror dimension. Mirrors interact in a very specific way with light and light is needed to create portals. Rory can not spend long amounts of time in the mirror world. If he is in there too long his mirror image can discover this and try to take his place in the real world. Like Rory his mirror image has the same exact abilities. His mirror image has the ability to seal him away forever and take his place in the real world.
Rory can not have reflection clones in the real world for longer than 12 hours. After that they will start to crack and eventually shatter, like a mirror. If they shatter they will be gone from the mirror dimension forever. Whoever they belonged too will no longer have a reflection when they look in the mirror.

OVERALL. Rory doesn't have a sad story to tell you. He didn't come from a broken home. He didn't have shit parents. He had a very happy childhood. Rory's parents were even supportive when they found out he was a mutant, but they never really dove to far into what he could do. As far as they know he can only manipulate his own image in the mirror. They don't know anything about his ability to travel to the mirror world or take people's reflections and use it as his own personal army.
They don't know how powerful their son really is. Rory was afraid that they would be afraid of him. It was a shame he joined the fools. Not that he had a reason to be bad he just was attracted to the flash and style of the fools. The power and respect was an alluring prospect. Rory is now a prospect for the fools. Hoping to one day earn his way to a jacket.
