Closing the door behind her Gallahad wasted little time stripping from his armor. It was bulky and heavy. It wore into his shoulders. And though it was no problem to carry he was in his lodgings now. There was no point for him to keep it on. Gallahad pulled the shoulder plates off and tossed them in the beside chair. The chest plate came off next revealing the lean chiseled muscle beneath. "Are you a lady of the court?" He asked. Gallahad, who had never been here before did not yet understand that these times were different. There were no lady's of the court here. There were employees. Which what he was honestly asking, if she worked here in this strange place.
Gallahad stood before her shirtless. There were many scars over his body. Scars from battles of old. Gallahad had fought dragons in his time. Warriors who were mightier than he, but somehow he prevailed. His body was proof of the mighty and his determination. The room was dark as they entered. Though a little bit of light spilled in from the curtain. "Is there a candle here?" He asked searching for some source of light. When she flipped on the light switch Gallahad looked around. Marvelous. He thought with curious attention set upon the lamp in the corner. Gallahad disregarded the girl completely and walked over to it. His boots and metal leg armor making much noise as he traveled the distance. Gallahad inspected the lamp with growing interest.
Even going as far as to remove the lamp shade to get a closer look. "This is the strangest candle I ever encountered." He said in awe. It didn't burn very brightly. This run down place didn't have good bulbs. Though it was enough to fascinate and like a moth to the flame Gallahad's finger slowly rose to touch it. As if someone put a big read button in front of him with the words do not push. He just had to touch it. A sizzle and burn! "Curse the seas of Atlantas!" He shouted angrily and before she could stop him he pulled out his sword and vanquished the evil creature. Fowl trickerous beast! "Die fowl creature!" He shouted again. His short hair seeming to bounce and sway with his sword thrusts. He was so quick to draw. Killing the evil lamp left them in darkness.
Suddenly he noticed. "I....I'm sorry. Are you okay woman?" He asked quietly, . Gallahad was noble and brave, but his tongue did not belong in this time. What strangeness he spoke in the modern age. "I'm....I'm not from around here." As if that excused his bizarre behavior. He said this placing his sword on the bed. The soft mattress stood between them. The mattress and an ocean of time fore they were world apart.

Gallahad was surprised to say the least when the woman came outside for his assistance. He had only been in these lands a short while and already everyone's manners were deplorable. He watched as she slid the key through the mechanism and a little light turned green. "Marvelous. You certainly have strange and intriguing witch craft in your....." He was going to say in your time. But instead he decided it was better to blend in. He hadn't been doing a very good job of that since he arrived. It was clear even to him that he was very different than the people who resided here.
"Much obliged. My name is uh.... Calvin. Calvin Kline. It is an honor to meet such and alluring and charming creature such as yourself." He admitted. Staring at her shorts he could make out what appeared to be bunny rabbits all over them. "Are those bunnies? Hm..." He didn't understand why someone would wear a picture of a rabbit they were not fierce or might creatures at all. More of a food source really. It was still dark outside the motel and though he had tried to glimps her face it was still masked in shadowy mystery. That was until a passing car went by. The headlights shined on her face and he caught a moment of her features. He gasped and fell back into the open doorway. My word! She is the spitting image of the fair and lovely Princess Maud.
Suddenly Gallahad was over come with the need to know more about her. "Maud?" He whispered quietly seizing her hand. Her reaction was confused to say the least and he quickly realized it was not the woman he loved. Still her likeness was uncanny. The beating of his heart trotted at a gallop. He wasn't even sure if his steed Sir Nicholas would have been able to keep up with his beating heart. The fact was he was stunned. "Apologies. I do not mean to stare, but you are the loveliest most beautiful maiden I have encountered in these lands. You must forgive my inability to turn from such beauty." Inside Aubrey's motel room her book liked on the bed. Almost word for word the time traveling knight had said that to the female lead on the chapter she had just read. "Apologies. I do not mean to stare, but you are the most beautiful maiden I have encountered in these lands. You must forgive my inability to turn from such beauty."
It was scarily accurate. As if Gallahad himself had read the book. But Gallahad knew nothing of trashy paperback romance novels you can get out of a clearance been. The pure astronomical odds alone were enough to make your head spin, but now he seemed to be quoting her book to her. It was strange coincidence indeed. Gallahad tossed his shield on the bed. He stepped inside enough to undo his sword sheeth and toss it in the chair. He never took his eyes off of the radiant woman in front of him. "Might I be bold enough.... To ask for your company tonight?" Gallahad asked. It was the Acaidian equivalent to saying "Dam girl you are fine as fuck, can I get your number." But the way he spoke made it sound sweet and gentlemanly. He smiled at her all the while his heart continued to race.
Gallahad was a noble knight. A knight of the round table for Christ's sake. He was honorable and loyal to the end. There was nothing in the world that would keep him from fulfilling his promise to Maud and bringing back what would cure her father. Nothing in the world except for maybe the chance at love with the woman of his dreams. And yes, this was not Maud hereself but maybe it was his second chance. His shot at redemption in the eyes of love. Gallahad was nervous before such an amazing creature and his voice was a little more shaky than his usual confident. In his time Gallahad was a bit of a lady charmer and he never had a shorted of wenches to fill his bed chamber but now.... Now he sat upon the edge of a knife feeling foolish and inexperienced.

Stepping out into the night the wind gusted around. Gallahad was wearing armor. Heavy and conspicuous though he wasn't sure what the people of this time wore his first clue was a Calvin Klein billboard. Staring at it Gallahad's hand rested on his sword. Strange. That man appears to be comfortable in his undergarments for the world to see. Not a modest fellow by any means. Walking down the street with metal clangs ringing out for every footfall he stopped as a car almost hit him.
"Who the fuck are you supposed to be Lancelot?" Gallahad smirked. "No, my good man. Lancelot is a charleton and a coward. He couldn't best me on the finest of days. You must be his descendant. Your family lineage is comprised of cowards and fools." Walking away Gallahad's footfalls continued to clang down the road. He saw a sign that said hotel. Nearly getting hit by another car he paused before finishing crossing the road. The carriages in this land moved very fast! The motel had a flashing neon sign that said vacancy. Gallahad might not have been from this time period but he recognized an in when he saw one. Mutliple carriages lined up outside the doors. Yes, this was an inn he might find lodgings and figure out his next steps.
He slung his shield over his shoulder and walked up to the door. Pulling it open the jingling bell above the door startled him. Gallahad pulled his sword and prepared to strike. The man behind the counter was less than impressed. He stared at Gallahad with mild interest and subtle curiosity. "We're not in Kanas anymore." He said sarcastically. Gallahad turned his head sharply to the innkeeper. "Kans-sas. We are in Kans-sas?" The man leaned on the counter and chuckled a bit. These foreign tourists were getting weirder and weirder by the day. "Yeah, we are in Kaaaans sas. Do you want a room or not buddy? The commercials are almost over and I ain't missing the lightening round for your dumbassery." Gallahad tucked his sword in it's sheeth.
"Yes, I require lodgings for the night. Do you take gold or silver?" The man started to complain about him knocking off the shit when Gallahad slapped down several solid gold coins on the counter. His metal gloved hand thudding loudly with the clinking of coin. "Uh.... Yeah we take gold. It's pretty pricey though. It'll cost you lots of gold King Arthur." He smirked at the strange idiot in the suit of armor. "My name is Sir Gallahad." Gallahad said dryly loosing some interest in this meanial exchange. "Yeah, of course." The innkeeper said rolling his eyes and taking way more gold than he needed to rent him a room for the night. "Number 3 don't break anything. And non of your larping shit in the room okay? I got expenses and they don't need to include sword damage." Gallahad took the key and stared at it unsure what to do with it. "I shall treat your dirty hovel as if it were my own kingdom."
Gallahad was about to turn and leave when a commercial interview with Tony Stark came on the TV. Gallahad stopped and grinded his teeth. King Barrett?!?!? Here?!?! Ho....How?!?!? That treacherous snake was not going to live long if Gallahad got his hands on him. "Fithy excuse of a king." Gallahad snarled. The innkeeper turned to see what he was talking about. "Oh yea, I guess some people thing that asshole is royalty, what you don't approve Mr. Shiny pants?" He laughed again. Gallahad stared at him and sighed. "I would slay him where he stood." Without waiting for a response Gallahad turned and left. Finding the room with his number on it by pure luck. He stood at the door trying to figure out how to open it.
The knob didn't work. He couldn't figure out the use of his key and was ready to take his shield and bash the door down. Kicking and slamming on the door he got the attention of one of his neighbors. The door cracked slightly and he saw a face peek out. It was dark in the parking lot and he couldn't see features of their face. "Excuse me? How does this infernal device work? The innkeeper took my gold but didn't explain how to enter my hovel." Gallahad's voice was tired and frustrated. He wanted to get started on his mission, more than that he wanted to find out about how and why King Barrett was in this land. More than anything though he just wanted inside his room.

x Gallahad NAME. Gallahad (Calvin Klein present day time as a cover)
NICKNAME. Time Wizard
AGE. 28
MEMBER GROUP. mutant
GENDER. male
SEXUAL ORIENTATION. Straight
POWER: Time manipulation
STRENGTHS:. Gallahad can travel through time backwards and forwards. He can move through the present past and future to any place in time he wishes. Doing so grants him other abilities as well. He has the ability to slow and stop time. He has the ability to create a field of statis where time exists slower in a particular spot. He has lordship over time and all it's properties.
Time Healing: Gallahad can heal a part of his body by aging it. If he gets shot for example. He can place his hand on the wound and change the rate of growth of the cells moving those isolated cells through time aging that part of his body until the point it is healed and scared over. Then by deaging it backwards it can be the same age as the rest of his cells, though the scar will remain.
Time cloning: Gallahad can rip through time several times over to the same exact point creating copies of himself that all exist in the same timeline. He has no control over the copies they will have their own free will, though they were generally think and react as he normally would. They would have the same goals and motivations though they may actively seek to perseve their own lives in the timeline rather than working towards the greater good.
Slowing down / Speeding up time: Gallahad can slow down and speed up time as simply as if he pressed play on a controller. It doesn't take much effort and he has no limit to this ability. He doesn't just to have a isolated area with time slowing down and speeding up. Gallahad can rewind and fast forward the entire world with a single slow down or speed up. When under the influence of his speed up or slow down people are not generally aware unless they are powerful psychics. Weather moving fast or slow they would assume that they were going the correct speed their minds speed up or slow down to accommodate this state of mind while in the process.
Selective aging: Gallahad is twenty eight years old. Naturally twenty eight. He has not changed his age or manipulated his youth in any way. He has existed on this planet for twenty eight years though he has the ability to rewind the clock and make himself younger or older at a wish. He can do this an infinite amount of times effectively making him immotal if he wishes.
Temporal teleport: When moving through time Gallahad appears at whatever point in space he was thinking about when he thought of his destination. By shifting quickly between timelines he can disappear and reappear in a more desirable location within nanoseconds effectively appearing to teleport at will.
Gallahad can bring others through time with him if he wishes. It only takes a touch at the point of travel. He can bring others through time or send them through time alone. Sending someone back 20 years for example would grant the victim 2o years of additional life. They do not age at all until the twenty years have passed for them to earn their way back to the present moment they had been traveled from. Doing so they gain more life though if Gallahad were to go and retrieve them from that time line and bring them back to present day where they were from they would loose any additional life granted to them. When sent backwards times stops moving for them in a lateral direction and only ticks away what was taken.
WEAKNESS: Gallahad has to be ever present and careful not to alter too much when going back into the past. His trips to the future are strange and unknown, but changing the past for personal gain tends to have catastrophic ramifications. A tsunami in Japan could happen because he didn't throw away a coffee cup. The rules of time travel are strict and he has to follow them closely.
Moving through time to many times in rapid succession can tamper with his memories. If he mads 7 or 8 jumps in rapid succession he could give himself a concussion from compounding memories and new information his brain would have to take in from all the new variations in the time line. Each time he jumps to a different point in time he is instantly caught up on all relevant events as if they were memories he had always had.
Sometimes Gallahad can get nasty headaches and nose bleeds from excessive time travel. It is hell on his brain and sometimes multiple jumps can cause brain swelling and even brain damage if he isn't careful. If he time travels multiple times in a row it is okay to do a few times, but doing it on a regular basis can cause himself serious harm or even death. He is only immortal in terms of age. He is not indestructible.
FACE CLAIM. Adam Nicklas
HEIGHT. 6'1
WEIGHT. 230
IDENTIFYING FEATURES. piercing blue eyes
OVERALL. Gallahad dresses in jeans boots and a leather jacket. He doesn't have much fashion sense as fashion in the present day is strange to him. He acquired his clothes from a biker he unfortunately had to beat up upon arrival. He typically tries to blend in and dress how other people seem to dress though he has to admit he likes the leather jacket.POSITIVE TRAITS. Noble, brave, selfless, charming
NEGATIVE TRAITS. Easily distracted, corruptible, fool hearty, quiet
OVERALL. Gallahad was one of the knights of the round table. He was appointed by King Henry Calliot the 3rd himself to be the guardian of his beautiful daughter Princess Maud. He is honorable and brave and he has an indominable spirit. Gallahad is about the most honest person you will ever meet this century.
FATHER. Borihemeir of Acaidia
MOTHER. Gwendellyn of Acaida
SIBLINGS. Aris of Acaida (Brother died in battle)
OTHER FAMILY. Horse (Sir Nicholas)
HOMETOWN. Acaidia
OVERALL. Gallahad was considered a Time Wizard in his time. It was thought that he was a powerful sorcerer in Acaidia, though it was really just his mutant ability. Mutations existed even back then, but they were far more rare. Human evolution over the centuries has caused mutation to be far more frequent. He used his abilities for good and for the good of Acaidia. He served his king Loyally and fell in love with the Princess Maud. She had eyes only for a hero by the name of Desmond.
Gallahad had to watch painfully as she swooned over him until his eventual death. Gallahad was just a knight of the round table in her father's court at the time. Though Henry's brother Louis poisioned him and Henry assigned Gallahd to watch over his daughter on his death bed. Gallahad promised Maud that he would travel to a time in the future to find a mystic cure for her father's poison. Louis was executed and Gallahad froze Henry in a stasis where time doesn't move. He hasn't died but he is basically frozen in time until Gallahad can return with a cure. He looks as if he is sleeping and nothing more.
Leaving Acaida and the past behind to move to the present day Gallahad finds himself in Detroit. A bustling city of temptation and ill repute. He wants to return to Acaida the hero. Maybe win the affections of Princess Maud by saving her father. Though he hadn't planned on meeting her twin in the present day. He has become distracted and fallen hopelessly in love with Audrey.
