STRENGTHS:. Carlito can absorb other people's souls.  In doing so he gains all of their knowledge, memories and private personal thoughts.  The thoughts fade away over time, but the knowledge and memories are his forever.  For a short while after absorbing someone he will be able to recall the last things they were thinking.  Up to the last twenty four hours.  Anything that was weighing on their minds heavily will be particularly obvious.  Carlito also instantly learns any skills or talents they had stored in muscle memory.  Parkour, juggling, singing talent, lock picking, hotwiring, The ability to lie convincingly.  These traits pass on as part of the soul. 

Once absorbed the person that was ceases to exist.  They do not carry on inside of Carlito in any way.  For the most part Carlito's personality is his own and not influenced by the souls he's taken.  Taking someone's soul not only rejunvinates his life but also adds to his lifespan over time.  He is forty one years old but has the potential to live much longer.  Hundreds of years.  Essentially.  If someone was going to die at the age of 60 due to their lifestyle and diet and he takes their soul at 20 years old when they died.... He adds 40 years to his potential life span.  

In the case of mutants Carlito takes on whatever powers they might have possessed.  These powers are his to call upon whenever his wishes, but using multiple powers requires massive amounts of energy and can quickly drain him.  Though he can call on these powers at any time.  Carlito was born with the ability to steal people's souls, but over time has added several abilities to his arsenal.

WEAKNESS: Carlito can only steal someones powers if he can physically touch you.  To take your power he has to absorb your soul.  He can not take it without doing so.  So if there is a power he likes he has to kill that person to obtain it.  This is less desirable if there is someone he likes and doesn't want to kill. The process can not be changed.  Also, after obtaining a new ability it doesn't take any time to master as he has the victims memories and talents.  He takes control of new powers with full mastery, but he will over do it and drain himself because he is not sure of the powers effects on his own body.  

Carlito can not touch anyone without gloves or he risks absorbing them.  Thus his physical contact with other people is very limited unless he intends to harm.  The ability lies within his skin.  It doesn't happen if you touch him, but if he places his hand on you, you will be absorbed.

OVERALL Carlito wears a leather Diablos jacket everywhere he goes.  He also is very comfortable in a plain t-shirt and a pair of jeans.  He rides a 68 Firebird and usually has an air of cool about him.

OVERALL. Carlito is not the type of guy who's bad side you want to be on.  He can be a monster if you piss him off.  He is known to hold a grudge and will relentlessly hunt you until the debt is paid.

OVERALL. Carlito was gifted with this strange and powerful ability when he was born.  It was forged into his DNA but the power did not become active until he was 13.  It started with kids in the neighbhorhood going missing.  Then his teacher.  Eventually with everyone disappearing around him it was discovered that he was the problem.  His parents sent him off to the Xavier school when he was just 15.  It was there where they tried to help him and hone his abilities for good, but Carlito decided he would use his abilities to build his empire.

He moved to Detroit and formed the Diablos.  A group of outlaws who's main mission was respect, power and territory.  Their biggest rivals are The Fool's Dice Club, but recently The Black Saints and the Bastards have been pushing their turf as well. It is an explosive powder keg that will surely lead to an all out gangwar.
