Okay, so maybe things were exactly where he wanted to be with Voodoo. He couldn't help that she had stolen his heart. Frederick was a man of particular tastes. He had a thirst for the finer things in life. He was never shy about that fact. He just wanted the best of everything. He had settled into his role here at the circus and come to accept the fact that his father Gavin would never groom him for a ringmaster role. He just didn't have the IT factor. While Frederick was okay with this in theory it didn't mean it didn't hurt.
He was beyond that though. His life was meant for bigger and better. He never thought he would truly leave the circus, but someday he planned to at least be the star of the show. He had to come up with a spectacular act. Something that would just blow his father away. Gavin never seemed to interested in Seven's abilities. He surely didn't manipulate them to his own greedy ends, but it was a kindness on his part. He just didn't want to use Seven like that as if he were just a tool. Seven never saw how much Gavin actually cared for him. It was not love, but it was something resembling it. Something he held of all his children though he did not actually love any of them. Seven was nervous as he stood outside Voodoo's trailer door.
She was the most beautiful girl Frederick had ever laid eyes on. Though most were unnerved and horrified by the nature of her abilities Frederick was fascinated. Not so much with the creepy little doll, but the immortality in itself. It was just.... Fascinating. With a heavy here goes sigh Frederick knocked on her trailer door. To his surprise the door slowly creaked it's way open. It was much larger than expected inside. Gavin had a mutant in the circus who could make things larger or smaller than they appeared to be. It was a weird power indeed but Gavin used it to full effect making rides at the carnival circus appear bigger and shows to seem more grand. In this particular instance he made the inside of most of the circus members trailers exceptionally spacious inside. All it took was a touch.
Frederick mounted the stairs one step at a time. Slowly peering into the darkness. There was a single candle at the back of the room. Her trailers was more like a house quite honestly. "H-h-hello?" Frederick was never one to lack confidence, but the eerie mood was already set. He was a little spooked stepping into the dark unknown. "Voodoo are you in here?" The door slammed shut behind him with a gust of wind unexpected. "Mother shit!" Frederick exclaimed as he leaned against the wall and grabbed his heart. Fucking door! He just didn't want that creepy ass doll running out of the darkness. He might actually shit his pants. He wanted to get to know the girl, not the puppet she manipulated. And though yes, her soul was in the doll it didn't mean that her soul didn't belong to the beyond that he had been so in love with. He didn't care about the scars or anything beyond the surface. It was her eyes that ensnared him the most.
They were lost, soulful. They looked as helpless and alone as he was. Just looking into her eyes, without her ever even noticing him; he felt as if he knew so much about her. Because she was like him! Something about those sad wanting eyes made him feel connected in a way. The wind continued to gust through the open trailer window. "Voo-Dooo? It's me Frederick. Frederick Sinclaire?" He called out not finding her in the first two rooms. There was candle on the table in the main entrance.
Frederick carefully picked it up and held it up to illuminate the dark. It was pitch black in here and the surprisingly large trailer had many rooms to search. Frederick peered into the darkness. He heard a creak at the other end of the trailer. Was that her? Turning around slightly the candle lit up her face in the dark. She was standing right there. "Ah fuck!" Frederick cried startled by her sudden silent appearance in the dark. He almost dropped the candle. That horrible little doll sitting right on her shoulder as she silently stared at him.
